Transforming lives beyond the rail tracks 🙌

It’s not just the outcome of our projects that transform lives, but also how we work with the community when we’re delivering them. That’s exactly what our team is doing - focused on more than just delivering city-shaping rail upgrades for the people of Sydney.

We partnered with @Sydney Local Health District to upgrade the Child and Family Waiting Room at Canterbury Health Centre as part of the project’s legacy community benefit initiatives.

We’ve turned the space into a brighter and more welcoming environment for families, complete with fresh paint, new flooring, comfy furniture, and toys for the little ones.

The highlight is a stunning feature wall artwork by a talented local Indigenous student from Canterbury Girls High School celebrating culture, land and community.

We’re proud to have delivered this health centre upgrade as part of the Southwest Metro Conversion and Station Works package.

A great result for our water team at the Sydney Water Supply Chain Expo!

Our teams across the North West Hub Alliance, Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre (AWRC) and Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) projects were recognised with awards from Sydney Water for demonstrating excellence across its supply chain.

🏆 Our Upper South Creek AWRC and North West Hub Alliance projects were recognised for driving meaningful commercial impacts or pathways for First Nations People through their close work with the Dharug community.

🏆 Our North West Hub Alliance’s use of the innovative SENSE600 reinforcing steel won an award for outstanding commitment to sustainability through innovative products, programs or best practices.

⭐ Our D4C team was highly commended for its outstanding commitment to safety innovation and best practices through the Daceyville SPS Wet Well Access Protocols, eliminating risks associated with working at heights, manual handling, H2S exposure and confined spaces.

As Australia’s premier water and wastewater contractor, we’re proud of our long and rich history of partnership with Sydney Water and the landmark projects we deliver together.

Shoalhaven Hospital helipad is prepared for take-off! 🏥🚁

Our team delivering the Shoalhaven Hospital Redevelopment hit a new high recently with the successful completion of test landings and take-offs of the new hospital helipad.

The helipad is 34 metres above ground and 25 metres in diameter and will give medical teams fast, direct access to critical care when it matters most.

It sits atop a new seven-storey acute services building, including a new emergency department and intensive care facilities. Construction on the redevelopment is progressing well with internal fit-out well underway.

This project reflects @johnhollandgroup's deep experience delivering complex hospital infrastructure, building in constrained environments, integrating critical clinical functions and working closely with health partners, doctors and communities to get it right.

We’re proud to be delivering this critical infrastructure for NSW Health Infrastructure and Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.

Inspiring Queensland’s next generation of female construction workers! 👷‍♀️

We recently teamed up with @constructionskillsqueensland and @bosform_australia to welcome a group of women from the Skilling Queenslanders for Work program on a tour of our Princess Alexandra Hospital Expansion project.

Our partnership with CSQ is all about empowering young people to see construction as a real and rewarding career.

And what better way to do that than with a site visit to one of Queensland’s most important health infrastructure projects.

The group had the chance to experience life on a major project site, learn about different areas of construction and hear inspiring stories about working in the industry.
