More reliable services and a better quality train ride.

North East Rail Line Upgrade

We delivered the multi-million dollar works package to upgrade the North East Rail line between Melbourne and Albury-Wodonga for the Australian Rail Track Corporation.

Passengers travelling from Melbourne to Albury on Victoria’s North East Rail route are now enjoying smoother journeys, significantly less delays and improved reliability of the network.

The accelerated works program involved major improvements along the entire rail corridor – over 500kms – 71 level crossing renewals and 92 bridge replacements.

The scope also included ballast depth improvements along the entire rail corridor, mudhole removal and track resurfacing and drainage upgrades.
