The Abercrombie Precinct in Darlington not only provides world-class facilities for living, teaching and learning, but has also become the new ‘Southern Gateway’ to the University campus.
Encompassing more than 32,000 sqm across seven levels, the building’s lower levels feature flexible teaching and learning spaces including 50 seminar rooms, learning hubs of various sizes and four large lecture theatres, with the largest seating 550 people. The upper levels contain offices and meeting rooms for academic staff.
The student accommodation includes studio-style apartment living spaces, social common areas and meeting and study space for up to 200 students.
