How to Apply

We prefer to receive applications via our online application process. All job vacancies with John Holland are posted on our website. When you first apply for a job with John Holland you will be asked to create a profile for yourself. You are able to then track your progress, apply for other positions of interest and update your resume by logging into your account via the 'Already Applied' link.  

Our Recruitment Process - What to Expect  

The diversity of John Holland’s operations necessitates for the exact timeline and review process to vary across our different regions and areas of our business. The standard recruitment process for most positions is outlined below.  

Conduct Job Search  

Click on the 'Job Search' link located in the menu and select the location, work type and category that best fits your interest to view our current vacancies. You can further narrow your search by selecting the area of capability within John Holland that you would like to work with.  

Click 'Apply' for relevant position  

By clicking on the ‘Apply’ button at the bottom of an advertisement, you will be requested to login to our Applicant Services section and create a profile for yourself. The position you apply for will have a specific application form containing a few questions to give us an overview of your work preferences. You will also be asked to attach a current resume to support your application.  

What Happens Next?  

After submitting your job application, you will receive an email notification confirming that we have received your application. You are able to login to your account via the "Already Applied?" link on our careers page and view the status of your application. Our recruitment team will be in contact with you via email or phone to update you on the status of your application and inform you of the next steps in the process.

Unfortunately due to the high volume of applications received by John Holland we are unable to personally call every applicant.  

Interviews, Reference Checks and Medicals  

Our interview process provides you with the opportunity to discover the career options, learning and development opportunities and the benefits of being part of the team at John Holland whilst providing us with the opportunity to discuss your technical skills. Reference checks and medicals are standard procedure for all positions within John Holland.
